Welcome to Paire. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paire mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Paire Appetit, Inc. ("Paire," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. User Content

Our Service allows you to post, submit, and share content, including ratings, reviews, lists, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a license to use it:

• To provide and improve the Service
• To create aggregated, anonymized insights (which cannot identify you)
• To display your public content to other users you've chosen to share with

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

• Scrape, data mine, or collect user data without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated systems or bots without our express permission

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Paire and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

"Paire," the Paire logo, and other Paire marks are trademarks of Paire Appetit, Inc. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Paire. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Restaurant compatibility scores and recommendations are based on algorithms and user data. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any recommendation or that any restaurant will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAIRE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
